A Modell of Christian Charity

        The early settlers of America came from England in the pursuit of a Utopian society. A utopian society is an ideal society in which people wanted to achieve and live in. According to puritans a utopian society is made up of a land free from sins, guilt and pain and a society where they could practice any religion freely and without any form of prosecution. John Winthrop believes that if they are the city upon the hill that all eyes are on them. I don't believe that it is possible for us have a utopian society because there are to many bad people in this world for there to be a perfect society to live in. To many people would rather hurt others to get themselves ahead in life, there have been countless bombings, shoot outs and stabbings that have occurred and each leads us farther from this so called "perfect society" in which people once so badly wanted us to live in. Today's society is less worried about wrong and right and are more worried about getting ahead and taken anyone down along that threatens them or that is in there way. It's sad that a perfect society cannot exist today but could it have ever really existed.
